Income Criteria for the Canada GST/HST Credit Benefit
Income criteria is divided into two categories including Single applicants as well as couple individuals who are applying for the benefit. As much the number of family members in carries in your family, your income criteria will automatically increase but it should not be more than $74201.
- If you are a single applicant and living without any child in a family then your income should not be more than $56181.
- However applicants who are living with their common law partner but do not have any child in a family then the annual income of them should not be more than $59,481.

Canada GST/HST Credit Amount January 2026
The benefits in the program are not fixed and are calculated according to the family structure and the income condition of the applicant. After that the amount of $184 will be added in the benefit of the applicant according to the number of children in the family.
